Delighted to see Birmingham and London do so poorly. I love Macca but come on, it's nearly a Glastonbury ticket!

there was that and i believe Neil (mr efestivals himself) has heard some things that might also suggest it's him, but there's nothing concrete. i don't think many would be considering him a serious possibility if there weren't so few options left now

Doubt it'd be 3 "old" headliners (as in acts that have been around for more than 20 years), they only seem to have done that once in recent times (2009 with blur, neil young and bruce).

Kanye: divisive, everyone will be talking about it, at the "peak of his powers" arguably.

She's got no form for this sort of thing except that time at Coachella. Other than new music being released there's been absolutely no sniff of speculation that it would be her.

I think you could possibly argue that Blur still appeal to a younger generation, if you've grown up any time in the 90's, you've listened to Blur, especially if you're British!

but not three in the same year. 2009 was very special in getting those three acts at the top of the bill in the same year. there's usually something more current at the top along with an oldie

Whilst she doesn't have 'form' that suggests she'll do Glastonbury, she does have form that suggests she'll do a big one off show prior to her tour for the media coverage/exposure...

In 2006 she did Coachella before her Confessions tour, in 2008 she headlined Radio 1's Big Weekend before her Sticky & Sweet tour & in 2012 she did the SuperBowl half time show before her MDNA tour.

I doubt she will do Glastonbury, but her tour dates don't rule her out entirely as people on here have suggested.

Shame. I did think it was odd when I just logged in at half ten and got a seat in the cheapest category without even having to join a queue.
