Hmmm....from the lovebox site:

"Across the entire weekend, the Lovebox masses will be treated to an exclusive, epic set from Despacio, the innovative, custom-built soundsystem brought to you by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and 2manydjs. This is going to be an unmissable experience"

Is it wishful thinking to assume that "exclusive" in this sense means privileged and not a festival exclusive. :/

nah, i reckon you're right, it's the first one.

doesn't necessarily mean that they'll be playing elsewhere mind, but i think they would have actually specified if they had tied them down contractually to a festival/UK/European exclusive etc.

at least the fact that all the gear is in the UK a few weeks after Glastonbury makes it a bit more likely. if it was at some place in the US around then, then it would be less likely...

If you want to be positive you can read that it's an exclusive "epic set", note that they haven't mentioned anything about "festival exclusive" (as they have with Theo Parrish) and note that "exclusive" means less and less anyway... but it's not really good news for us I don't think.

Oddly, it does say set! Always find that wierd thing to claim an exclusive on!

proper sad it won't be there this year. Had the best time Thursday night there last year The queue to get in was huge but it moved pretty quick and was more than worth it.

Any recommendations of something similar where I can head on Thursday this year?
