The Gully / Reggae

I've just noticed The Gully is missing from the site map. Quite gutted about this, it was one of my favourite stages last year. Suprised as well as it always seemed busy. Is this to have less stages and stop the sound bleeding in Silver Hayes?

Are there any other places to hear reggae at Glasto?

In Emily's interview with radio 1 she mentioned someone playing in the Gully this year. I'm certain she did.

I wish it would move out of Silver Hayes - not my favourite part of the festival - somewhere over near Spirit of 71 / Glade ish would be good!

Walked past everyday last year coming to and from camp. It looked really cool with its shanty town appearance and the coconut stall outside

It's not the final map- they sometimes change the smaller stage locations, and make it more accurate running up to the festival- likely the Gully might just be getting slightly moved to sort out the sound bleed issues.

Hopefully not! I prefered the Gully out of the the new bits in Silver Hayes!

Maybe its just not marked on this years map yet, still seems to have the space for it at least!

Indeed, Gully and Blues were the pick of the bunch in Silver Hayes, Dreadzone on Sunday was a highlight for me last year, in the Glade this year

Glad, because I didnt spend enough time there last year.

I missed J-Star last year. One of my main regrets.

I spent a few glorious hours sat in the sun with my back against one of the flatbacks totally chilling to the tunes being kicked out...so glad it's gonna be back.

Blues are reggae parties. They can go on for nights on end.

I had one at my flat and made loads of money off the door and the bar - about £400 a night, even after paying the sound system! I did end up with a noise abatement notice calling me a statutory nusiance, but I considered this a small price to pay! My neighbours didn't even call the police untill 4am on the second night - lovely patient party people!

Anyway - I also think it doesn't belong in Silver Hayes - I wish they could find a spot for this, The Gully, & The Rocket Lounge from Shangrila-La - I mig just spend all weekend there!
