I emerge from a crowd of people drenched in a cocktail of liquids and discoloured in just about every square inch of my body, people ask me 'where have you been for 4 days? Haven't seen you since you were looking at that smelly guy eating hobnobs'. I look off into the distance, people say I looked positively shell shocked, when asked to think further I enter a deep meditative state.... I take deep breaths and close my eyes.

'Get on with' an increasingly agitated Pete yells into my ear with such vial piercing notes that I suddenly get thrown into the scene which basically lead to my eventual disappearance. I was walking down a surprisingly empty pathway and the sun was setting, I had long lost my friends by this point and the air was getting colder by the hour, it was a very entertaining Thursday by all accounts (I had even removed the smell of piss from my breath) and I was making my way back to my tent. I hear some giggles in the distance and I decided to investigate... 'durrrrng' I suddenly hear the familiar resonance of an acoustic guitar being taken out in a not-so careful manner. I prepare myself for a delightful campfire song and anticipate the first strum.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath, the MDMA had made me very loved up and incredibly receptive to music... nothing could possibly ruin my day.

The music begun

Suddenly the sense of well being and ease left my body like a petrified spirit leaving it's host, I suddenly felt cold and empty and no longer felt like I was at home any longer. But I had no idea why this was, I decide to stay even though every fiber in my being told me this was probably a bad idea.

My eyes had opened fully by this point, but it was too late, I already knew what lay ahead of me by this point.... the sight would merely confirm what I already knew. Despite this I looked anyways. And as my eyes adjust and the world that was once such a pleasant blur turns into a sharp piercing reality I could finally confirm that I was in fact in the middle of a intimate Jake Bugg performance.

'And then what?' Sam asked in a quivering voice, knowing how grave a situation it must've been.

'I just sat there' I replied in a monotonous voice

'Why didn't you leave' he asked in an increasingly concerned tone of voice.

'I stared face to face with the devil that morning, you simply cannot walk away from the sight, I was remove from reality and in effect not of this earth.... I was sung a lullaby that effectively deleted my soul' I said with a blank expression.

'Jesus christ! I never knew his music could evoke such a response!' Quivered Pete

'Of course that didn't happen you bloody mongs' I said in a playful voice 'His music is just wallpaper, since when has wallpaper done anything but bore the shit out of you?, I just took a shit load of acid and mud wrestled some burlesque dancers and couldn't find my tent the next day... duh! Let's go get munted ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyye'
