I will take you up on that sir.

There's nothing left for me to say here because I won't be revealing anything else! Again I don't expect any of you to believe me till the lineup comes out but I thought I might give ya'll the heads up!

Coool, the bet's on. :)

Just drop back here when the announcement is made, and we can settle up.

A newbie challenges the authority of Neil's information. Very interesting indeed........

It could be.

For all I know things might have changed from what I last heard. I don't get to find out till that announcement.

But you can be sure as hell that I wouldnt have bet £50 with the first bet I've made at a bookies in my life on Kasabian, if I didn't feel exceedingly confident of that info.

Maybe the Eavi realized how shit Kasabian are and came to their senses.

Any chance Eavis was struggling for a Saturday headliner so asked Kasabian to move days in order to accommodate Kanye because he couldn't do Saturday? Or are Kasabian a cert for Sunday?

I will laugh at all the people who put money on Kasabian to headline Sunday if it turns out they've moved days now (only because I didn't get a chance to put the bet on myself!! :P)

Edit: Just seen your post which kind of already addresses the question.

Whether this is the case or not I think it is a really risky booking for Mr Eavis

Doing one of the classic Kanye Rants on BBC coverage might not go down well...

AWWW man, that'd be so fucking good. That alone would fucking obliterate anything Kasabian could offer

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
