I think Rudimental are just as far, if not further, from the Libs than Lily Allen.

It'll probably be someone like Razorlight/James/Travis, the kind of rubbish that is around for T or Benicassim in the weeks after

there's no big names supporting, or alternatively there's no big sellers supporting.

Except there might be, but it's a bit off-beat for what you'd expect so I'm not sure it'll have the desired effect (tho I can see what they're trying to do).

Overall it's hard to guess at how it might sell because it's trying to appeal to two different crowds where I don't think there's much cross-over between them. If both sides of that crowd buy into it then it'll sell pretty well, but if both don't it could well be disastrous.

I reckon some sort of "indie-dance" cross over act from what Neil has said, it seems it might possibly appeal to Libertines fans but isn't what you would normally assosiate with that sort of indie fan

Really? I don't think that would be 'trying to appeal to two different crowds' too much. I imagined it'd be something pop/hip hop or an oldie act. MSP aren't quite an oldie act yet and have many fans who'd also follow other indie rock bands.

Ex-Eton toss-pot educated alongside Prince Willy trying to be 'punk' - about as anti-Libertine as you could get...then again, with this reunion being solely a money making a scheme it probably fits perfectly.
