Robbie Williams?

Hmmmmm I'd enjoy it, I would enjoy... I think if the mood was right and the cider buzz me & buddies were riding dictated it I could see us falling into this gig with open arms but I don't think he'll headline... at least not these days. If they have a huge pop star headlining one of the days I can see him subbing though.

If we end up with Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles it'd be a dad rock extravaganza, might as well book Robbie as something for the mums!

I shouldnt take the piss really, I saw him in Cardiff in '99ish and he was quality, put on a proper show and was a comsumate entertainer, that said his more recent output has been questionable at best!

Robbie Williams has of course played Glastonbury before. He's played shows and sold records most of the rumoured headliners can only dream of. So he deserves a bit of credit for his success.

I wont give it to him musically, but I can't see an issue with him playing Glastonbury. Where his slot would be is a difficult question, or maybe not so difficult. Ie not very high up

This smug little chump is top of my missus's 'freebie-celebrity we are allowed a pass to get jiggy with' list.... That makes me sick.

Was dragged to see him in Manchester this year. In all fairness to the muppet, he was very very good with a big crowd.

Can see him ziplining down from the top of a huge Robbie head on the Pyramid Stage.

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
    • Glad I’ve still got it booked off for my 50th
