Decent ales etc that come in cans

My favourite from last year was thwaites wainwright - lovely golden ale even a few days in. 2 x4 packs for £8 at tesco at the moment.

This year i have opted for Badger 'Fursty ferret' and 'Tangle Foot', they were on offer in Tesco 8 cans for £8

Golden Hen is my choice for this year. Decent drop for a canned ale.

To me the quality of most of the regular ales in cans (tanglefoot etc) is not worth the heavier price tag they carry than mass produced lager. I've had some great canned stuff (Flying Dog, BrewDog, Andersons, Six Point) but they carry with them a fair premium. Your best bet is online shops for that (real ale company, beers of europe etc)

Bath Ales Gem? That is a fantastic beer. First came across it a few years ago at Galstonbury where it seemed to be in most bars but sadly no more. No tins, only the bottle or keg

Just going to throw this out there for anyone from the barnsley area.. The Acorn brewery will drop any of their ales into 10 ltd bags in a box with a tap on. I bought their old moor porter in this shape on Christmas Eve and it was well tasty. The porter is more wintery but they do the same for the pale/golden ales as well. Ideal for the ale drinking festival goer.

very pricey but you can get Brewdog's Glorious Punk IPA in cans now. will set you back at least £2 per small can tho! it is heavenly tho.

Might have to get some pride in!
