I think some of the obsession on there is hilarious.

What I'm more interested in however is the likelihood of Bruce playing Glasters again so soon after 2009? Fact that theres no real "set up" needs from his people doesnt make it impossible.

Just can't see it myself - irrespective of the Paris date.

Yeah - Ill be at both of those tix permitting. Then London and Coventry (not sure I can make the Hampden). Shame no Barca data announced. Will be able to go to as many as I like assuming Mrs carries through the threat to divorce me if I follow him round again.

Seen rumours on the internet that Stockholm will get 2 nights at the Friends Arena on 3/4 August. I saw it on the internet so it must be true.

There are some crazy fools posting on BTX/Greasy Lake etc. Wouldn't mind betting that for all the travelling for shows they only see hotel/venue/airport, same as the band. Travel is wasted on some people!

I was up on the morning of his Glasto show at about 8am and went for a wander round the site for brekkie. Walked through the Pyramid field and there were people already there sat with their backs to the barrier in Bruce tshirts etc. That was them for the day. Don't know if they even stayed for the other days of the festie.

These are the fuckers who dehydrate themselves so they don't have to use the toilet all day. cheering the roadies when they come on to sound check Bruces guitar, chanting "We love you Kevin".

Clowns.

Manchester won't happen, the UK may get a second night at Wembley if it sells well enough (can't see it tbh), Dublin has been skipped in favour of Limerick, Cork and Belfast.

Nothing yet for Austria etc, not seen it rumoured anywhere.

They need to do indoor dates for a change.

If it hasn't already been mentioned, this thread will soon be as long as one of Bruce's gigs. Sadly there'll be no Hyde Park guy to come in and pull the plug I fear.

PS. Saw Bruce once at Cardiff Millenium Stadium in 2004?/2005? and he was awesome.

Had I not experienced the show I did, with the company I did, in the city I did then I probably would be precisely like Neil in my opinion of his Bruceness. I thought he was overwrought and humourless.

I've hotels booked for Limerick and Belfast though in advance of getting tickets on Thursday for shows #10 and #11.

Word.

    • Nearly half owed to UK pension funds and banks, a third to foreign investors and the rest to the Bank of England.  We can say we won't pay the interest or the loans back but who would lend us 100 billion again next year? The Bank of England are selling their portion  at the moment which I read is making things worse so we should tell them to stop but I don't really understand why that is.
    • Gotta be worth a bump for old times sake
    • Let's hope you're right - having secret set by Olivia Rodrigo would be huge. It might even overshadow the Thursday trainwreck.   We'll see in a couple of hours.
    • Yet again we’re missing the WH Sunday reggae slot
    • Occident has got larger over the years and there's relatively little overlap with mbv and OR fans that I think it would work fine as it would divide the crowd so effectively.   They don't even need to give the biggest stage from an optics perspective either, this would be billed as a secret short set and used to promote her new album.
