I put 80% confident. Have never failed to get tickets, but 2004, 2007 and 2011 all took far longer to acquire tickets than was comfortable! Especially 2004, went on sale 6pm Sunday if I remember right, pretty much pulled an all nighter and it was well into the next day before we got tickets.

Personally I just do not know what to expect. I have been pretty lucky the last couple of years and got them pretty quick. I have also failed completely before. I am holding out hope that after a fallow year coupled with it being pretty muddy the last one and having such a piss poor summer this year that we may be ok.

Having said that I am starting to get the ticket jitters now!!

That was the first year I ever failed. We were not ready for that at all.

As it turned out if we had persisted we would probably have secured them. We gave up so easy that year. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Yeah we came quite close to giving up as well. Fairplay to the missus at the time, she was the one who kept at it when I was ready to give up at 4 in the morning!

We only got ours, by a tip on here by taking the S in https: after that we got 9 tickets for our group... 14 to 15 hours later if memorey calls...

Doubt that would work anymore...

I'd say about 50%. 2010 was a piece of piss, 2011 not so easy and I think this one could be tough. Luckily we have a good network of friends so hopefully someone will get through.

I really think it depends on how bad you want it. If, like most people on these boards, you are really, really desperate to go you will have a 90% chance of getting a ticket because you will be prepared, at your computer at 8.45am, with 20 screens open, thumping the refresh button on each session constantly for 2 hours non stop until you get the magic "enter your registration numbers screen"

If you are not quite as committed then I think you chances are a lot less, say 50% because you wont have that many windows open and wont be refreshing as often as the desparados like us!

If you look at all the people on the boards, most, like me, have always managed to get tickets for every year we wanted to go. Not that many, altohugh some, have failed

As an aside - I think seeing the "enter your registration number(s) screen" is both the most excited and nervous I get in my life!

Managed to get tix 2008 and 2009 no problem... 2010 we had a nail biting wait until the April resale... 2011 no go!! Even the resale was a disaster! I even caught the flu trying to get tickets running through a very flooded field to get to my Aunts who had faster broadband... Considering getting fibre broadband but the cost would double!

100% confident. My brother is sorting ticket day out for the full family, thats 6 of us, plus about a dozen of his friends, he's an absolute wizard at getting tickets as he always gets the tickets he wants so I have every faith in him.

I was able to get 24 tickets back on last sale thanks to my internet (the pints i received in return werre very sweet). Knowing my confidence will make me fall flat on my face and not get tickets, my contingency plans are for me and my mates (4 in total), just to keep at it, 1st one through pays the £200, and we are go!
