Just seen this, is it viable?

Your third headliner is going to be The Killers.

NME Awards Best British Band 2012: Kasabian

NME Awards Best International Band 2012: Foo Fighters

Both headline R&L

NME Awards Best British Band 2011: Muse

NME Awards Best International Band 2011: My Chemical Romance

Both headline R&L

This years Best British Band: Biffy (headlining) Best International?... The Killers.

http://forums.leedsfestival.com/tm.aspx?high=&m=1457155&mpage=4#1465281, about half way down. If Green Day can be considered with a stadium, The Killers have sold theirs out. At IOW, but seems a few thing are being chucked about this year into question with a new booker.

Have they played together? Who knows. They did have a heavier band in qotsa under them years back. Chuck Bloc Party in on a different day so it's not a total top two IOW copy. Also Frank Turner is playing The Killers day at T, perfect to play mid main on that below a couple of other heavier bands.

All we actually know or guess is that day is SOAD and Deftones.

It's not anymore crazy than the idea of FM or The Who heading and sharing a T band is not unknown.

Could up with a The Killers, SOAD, Deftones, YYY's, Frank Turner top 5 or similar.

I'll also add, The Gaslight Anthem are supporting them, 3rd at Download, nothing to say they'll hit Reading again, but should get, subbing NME Friday is basically the same spot they are getting at Wembley in terms of placing. They are also a band that'd fit that day well.
