I think I'd rather have Linkin Park than Green Day because Linkin Park are hilariously bad, but Green Day are depressingly bad. At least we can all laugh at Linkin Park.

because a Green day fan is going to go to a festival on the off chance of them playing a secret set one morning that people only really found out was 100% happening the day before. Not to mention that if they headlined this year, their fans would know about it. >.>

No but a Green Day fan could still get tickets to their massive stadium show in the summer. The people who might be Green Days fans who were at the festival last year might not be too bothered about seeing them again this year.

I know exactly what they were doing as I know what the brief was. The press didn't know that, nor did the attendees.

It was being closely monitored by staff on the entrance, stage and in gold command.

There was more than 5k in that tent.

Quick google search of Green Day secret set reading and this came up - that looks like a hell of a lot more than 5k people.

All I know re: Green Day is they shut off one entrance to the tent but left the other one open, that's how a load of my mates got in anyway.

I was right at the back of the tent...there was a helluva lot more than 5,000 in front of me.

I think there wll be a fair few people in the same mind set as me. I dont like Green Day enough to pay £60-£70 to go and see them at their own show, but i would like to see them at a festival where i can still get my value for money from other bands.

Makes you wonder what they would have done there been a crush & they'd told everyone they were limiting it to 5k
