They might not. But I don't think there is actually anything they have done and sold out that justifies them playing above NME tent headliner? All sub headliners last year have the ability to easily sell out arena's. Even in 2011, all subs have the ability to do it. I'm not sure these do.

I think people use the word 'massive' far too liberally these days. I've honestly never heard XX mentioned anywhere away from this forum, and apart from briefly giving them a listen on YouTube (not really my sort of thing) I'd never heard any of their songs. I'm not arguing that they're not big within their respective genre, or with fans of that type of music (I honestly don't know enough about them to dispute it), but are they really generally massive?

I dont think they will sub, I never have said it. What I am saying though is they wontbplay the nme tent, ive been saying that for a fair few months.

They would be a weak sub but a very good one for me personally, probably be a perfect third.

Have the black keys sold out arenas?

I see alot of people putting Placebo in their predictions, is there any actual evidence of this, like festival dates abroad or?

I'm not like having a go, I love Placebo but jut don't want to get my hopes up thinking they may play!

I wouldn't be so sure. I have Blur crazy friends, I also have The XX do nothing for me, being the same friends. I know that's one small group but they won't be on their own. I think the sub needs to have something about them to stop people just seeing it as passing time before a header they want, and not sure The XX is for that. The crowd just want music they can sing along to, get into and gives them a jump up I reckon. We know full well that Bloc Party, SOAD and provided something suitable is on NME, then FOB will have their fans that will do this.

Really don't want to get my hopes up for blur because knowing R/L it won't end up happening, but circumstancial evidence makes it possible and lack of other bands... it just looks right the final headliner being blur. I just really fucking want blur there they were fantastic at Wolverhampton Civic Hall, love to see them again

    • The first half of that game was cracking but then I fell asleep at half time. Maybe that's just the momentum of things.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
