Yeah sometimes it good to have your parents take you away ;)

I've decided if Blur headline Jack White should sub them (Like Gazza's prediction a few pages back), loc Party should headline the tent against Eminem and then I'll be getting a weekend ticket :P (I've got this happening in my head now :P)

That's perfectly logical from the festival/organiser's point of view but as with most you aren't taking into consideration the band's point of view. Would they play lower down at a festival two years after they headlined it? Very unlikely. And whether they were slated or not and by how many people is irrelevant.

have you ever been to coachella?

When you do, you do a read of of people that have, tips and experiences for the fest which is reaching 30 easily early morning by time its 13 here. Its very rare you find a uk festival that is too hot. Glasto the other year, when snoop dogg played was bloody hot, drinking was dehydrating, just wanted water.

So its not silly at all. I'd agree the alcohol normally but when its hotter, warm beer, no thanks

Nope never been to coachella and like others have said I wouldnt think of it due to the alcohol restrictions. Ive been to rock werchter where its hit 39c/40c so I know about festivals that get very hot...So for me more beer the better.

I just dont understand why you take offense when someone says something about a festival your going to.
