Feeder headlined a hyde park show for the olympics this year and headlined festival republic last year, I think that's a suitable spot for them. You're right about yeah yeah yeahs and vampire weekend, but I can see both of them playing, and don't know where else they'd fit in! Biffy Clyro are looking odds on to headline, and I think both their day and the Eminem day will be focusing on heaviers acts; with NME and the Friday focusing on Indie.

I would count example out, he would have to play 4 shows as part of mallorca/ibiza rocks then come the england the next day and play R&L on 24th and 25th. A 6 day in a row stint, something tells me he is not playing, and I also think being it is different that he'd be booked to cover Friday and Saturday at both sites and not be a risky closing day band

Genuine question, do a lot of people really go to another fest the following weekend? I can't see people going to V and then Cream the next week and I've never really fancied going to another fest a few days later.

Editors would be perfect....Placebo against Biffy would upset me :(

Good to see Editors as SR, fml I've only ever managed to catch them as a support act once. (along with the rakes supporting Franz Ferdinand at Ally Pally :D, when indie landfill was glorious :P)

    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
