Seeing as Neil heard information about kanye, isn't he worth an R on the page? Or is it just covered as jay-z & kanye west? Would make me feel alot better if he was rumoured :3

we took the Jay-Z & Kanye off as that can't happen (if press releases aren't telling porkies, that is).

If Kanye is going to appear on that page again it's likely to be as a TBC and appearing sometime soon.

Why does everyone say "can't afford anyone else good because blown in all on the Stones"? I love the way people know Glastonbury's finances inside out. No-one knows what the Stones have been offered, no-one knows how it compares to previous years, everyone must assume Stevie Wonder and U2 played for a packet of peanuts. For all of the know-it-alls, could you provide a breakdown of where the extra £1.7m from ticket sales (£10 x 170,000) has gone? Could some of it be used to finance the Stones without hitting the bottom line? Or maybe all of your assumptions are wrong? Actually that can't be right given your expertise in the area...I apologise for questioning anybody that clearly knows every fine detail about the Festival (apart from Sunday's headliner, that is)

as floorfiller rightly says above, they are a childish band that people tend to grow out of when they realise there are loads of bands in that genre of music, but who do it much much much better.

And those people who dont grow out of it, are clearly a little bit simple.

It's fine. It's like stereophonics, snow patrol, franz ferdinand fans. Dont worry about it, you just dont have a very good musical ear

Wow, you are now officially the biggest c**t on these boards, which is an impressive feat! Who the fuck are you to say people who like certain bands are simple and have a poor musical ear! I love the foo fighters, i'm not saying its not rock by numbers but I love them, I think they're a great band with some great songs. I also like stereohponics, snow patrol and franz ferdinand but that doesn't mean thats all I like.

My music taste are far reaching and eclectic just because I like some pop/rock bands doesn't make me simple. I like a lot more obscure stuff, I'm a big fan of jazz, due to my dad I likes lots of obscure 80s funk and jazz fusion stuff like spyro gyra and shakatak, I'm quite partial to metal (though not screaming stuff), old school proper hip hop such as tribe called quest is also abundant on my ipod, always listening to 90s shoegaze bands like the warlocks, the telescopes and loads more!

Just because I like foo fighters doesn't make me or my music tastes simple, it means I like foo fighters... and I like loads of other bands, musicians and artists

I dont think I'm expressing myself very well, so I apologise for that.

Foo fighters, snow patrol, stereophonics...It's the musical equivalent of reading the Twilight books. I cant fathom why people read that trash when there is a plethora of amazing books out there.

I look down on those people too.

I'm aware the problem is all mine and not yours. In a way I wish I could live in your simplistic, blissfully ignorant world.

I mean no offence.
