Still stick by what i said a couple of months back that Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would be a better headliner than Kanye of WTT. This is mostly due to me preferring the first two but i also believe that Dr. Dre's second album is a very strong album and the more he plays live the more likely his third album is to come out!

word on the grapevine (and by that i mean, 50 Cent said) is that Dre's new album will probably never be released as he's lost interest in it and wants to focus on his Beats headphones. to be fair, even if it did ever get released, it'd just be terrible. the Chinese Democracy of hip hop albums. those two songs he released from it were pretty piss poor

i hated that I Need A Doctor song. it was like Dre had seen how well Eminem's Love The Way You Lie did, took that exact formula and copied it, SO MUCH SO, that he got Eminem to rap the majority of the song for him. i know Dre's a producer first and a rapper second, but i at least expect him to rap on the verses of his own songs

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
    • I was surprised as well. I met more than 20 different people on both Friday and Saturday that had come in reusing QR codes.
