2013 Headliners

No Friday show at Hard Rock Calling, it's only the 29th/30th June. So that would suggest one night HRC, one night Glastonbury.

Surprisingly though, the Stones haven't played two nights in a row for a decade! I understand this tour will be a lot less extensive than previous ones, but does that make it either HRC or Glastonbury, rather than both?

EDIT: Also, having missed out on a bit, are Mumford & Sons meant to be this 'back-up act' in case the Stones drop out? Or are they still in the frame for the Sunday headline spot?

I would be happy with that line up but I imagine bar Dizzee Prodigy and C&S to a degree it's a bit to indie music focused .... But like I said I'd be more than happy with that !! Just need to chuck in Frank Turner some place earlier in the day and all is well !!!

There's no way that there'll be an act that'll appeal to many of the same people as the stones before the stones.

They'll have a very different act, to act as a 'repelent' so that the crowd doesn't build up too much.

I originally put Florence below the Stones, especially seeing as she performed with them a few months ago, but then I thought Noel Gallagher wouldn't want to play below Mumford so I swapped it round.

I did the same with Gaga (for the same reason) until her surgery news came out this week. That said, I haven't seen the entire tour cancellation officially announced, just a few shows so far

I can't see it being anyone that "current" under the Stones, an act like Chase & Status would make the Stones look terribly old & dated.
