This would be amazing for me, maybe the dash from Bloc party to Frank Turner, less than amazing, but Frank Turner, Biffy and Animal Collective as my headliners would just be icing on cake to best weekend of the year.

I doubt White Lies would drop to 3rd on other after subbing it only last year though, other than that, everyone in righ place

V festival? Frank Turner? What?

Yes to acts like Pro Green, Bland B and Olly Murs i couldn't agree more. But Frank Turner? shocks me a bit. He's anything but generic pop shite being churned out at present. His 1st album is anything but this, he plays folk festivals, and acoustic guitar! I could only assume you're being confused with Frank ocean. Frank Turner has a screamo band and used to me in one prior to this! (See. Million Dead, See. Mongol Horde)!

Might not be your cup of tea, but he seriously isn't 'bland mush of nothingness' or V Festival and T4 on the Beach (I realised he played V this year, but only cause he did Leeds like 8 years on the run, to which he still played) and he played in 08 and 10! Hugely Popular, he'd go down a treat for me anyway/

Each to their own but in my opinion Frank turner is about as bland, drab, dreary and as lacklustre as its possible to get. I really think he is as dull as dishwater! He just churns out the same album after album of sudo-political acoustic 'folk' social commentary crap. I'm sure some frank turner fan will freak out on me and hunt me down and kill me for saying all of this because for some reason his fans are ridiculously dedicated. I dont understand how he cant spout all this left wing nonsense when he went to Eaton. Yes, yes, yes it was on a scholarship but his Grandad was still Sir Mark Turner, the former chairmen of BHS!

Give me olly murs any day, at least he doesn't pretend to be something he's not, and unlike Frank Turner some of his songs are actually catchy.

Frank Turner is you're perfect middle of the road act, I've never met anyone who likes him who hasn't bored me to tears, even friends I have who like him bore me.

    • 1000% agree with this. I was there last night, ridiculous how good he was.
    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
