Primal Scream will rip the other stage a new one if they headline. I seriously hope that's true, that's the kind of other stage headliner I need to knock the U2 intrigue out of me.

This thread is brilliant, it is great to read everybodies differing (I'm right and everybody else is wrong) opinions on why he/she/they can't or shouldn't play this or that stage. The world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same thing.

I think Beyonce is a great booking for Gfl and as much as I cannot bear to listen to her music she is without doubt one of the biggest acts around and will probably pull it off superbly! (Definitely no pun intended although I maybe thinking one now)! Fotunately my girlfriend shares my views and neither of us will be around when she plays. Where will we be instead?

I have absolutely no idea until the lineup is announced but I'm sure I'll have a fantastic time...

Charging for records and gigs is fine obviously. It’s the shameless sponsorship and perfume ranges on the back of that success I’ve an issue with.

No perfume as far as I know (god alone knows what eau du Richards would smell like) but the Stones have proved themselves far greedier over the years in terms of sponsorship, tax dodging and corporate whoring than pretty much any other band ever. How much do they need? More than Glastonbury can afford, it seems.
