tbh i try to avoid stone circle late at night these days...there's a nice vibe there during the day and into the evening for sure...but later on it seems to just be a hang out for amateur pill heads and kids flogging aspirins....much nicer next door in flag field.... ;)

Any kind of standard fast food!!!! Usually way overpriced compared to the more specialist stalls and nowhere near as nice. God knows why there are always queues for bogstandard burger vans. Are they blind?!

Agreed. There's so much good food to be had at Glasto. It can be a wonderful eating experience and a chance to try food from all over the world. There's no need to go near greasy burger vans. It's a bit like people going abroad for a holiday and then hunting down a McDonalds.

Turdises - unless really, really desperate. Walking behind poo trains. Camping on low lying ground. Arriving 5 minutes before the start of a gig everyone wants to see at the John Peel stage e.g. Mumford & Sons - you won't get in. The dance village. All food outlets directly around the Pyramid stage (go to West Holts or the Green Fields where the food is grrrrreat!).

I also agree with someone else's comment - make the move to Arcadia & Shangri-La BEFORE the main acts on the Pyramid & Other stages have finished (you won't miss much, trust me), the crush at midnight is not pleasant.

Most importantly, avoid being unpleasant to other people. Glasto is like a parallel universe where 99.9% of the time, everyone is nice to each other. Just like the real world.....

Drinking so much passing medics find your discomfort hilarious

A pizza stand at the back of the Other Stage, can't remember the name but its name is written in yellow on a red background. I still feel sick now thinking about it, which considering it was cheese, bread and tomato puree (probably anyway) is impressive

Luckily I don't trust you. If I did I'd have missed the likes of Neil Young doing Rockin' in the Free World and A Day in the Life, or Blur doing the Universal, or Flaming Lips with Do You Realize??

Shangri-La's ace but missing a once in a lifetime experience to avoid a queue is just silly, over-organisation.

'Queue' fair enough. 'Dangerous crush' was my experience one night last year. If you're my height and trapped between the backs and fronts of giants you might feel a little differently! Over organisation it might be for you, but not for me, sorry. One solution, perhaps I can sit on your shoulders this year? Teehee.
