eFestivals is fund-raising

eFestivals has been here 20 years supporting festivals and festival goers. Without your support it will not continue as it has been.
Advertising used to pay the bills but advertising revenues are much less than they were.

Festivals: if you'd like us to continue to promote your event to our 650,000 monthly readers you'll need to give a helping hand.
Festival-Goers: if every visitor in just one day donated just £2, that would provide funding for a whole year.

You can donate or sign up for 'gold' (ad-free) membership, or you can contact the editor.

Aged 14, 15, 16 and 16. The Strypes. From Co Cavan. Saw them on Saturday night in a small sweaty pub. Absolutely superb.

Saw Radiohead on Saturday. They were mostly excellent.

Give Up the Ghost is pretty shit live though. The dual vocals make the backing track very obvious and it really didn't work. Alternate and interesting versions of Airbag and Planet Telex were fantastic, I completely didn't expect Hunting Bears or Pyramid Song.

Anyone heard anything about the QR codes they've been showing on screens during their tour or what they mean? I've tried google to no success.

....

Motörhead and anthrax in manc a coupla weeks later....

Will be seeing these two a few days after you. I'll never get tired of seeing Bomber/Overkill live.

Half the entertainment can be seeing lots of old people (Hi-de-Ho!bye.gif ) and my peers going nuts. A friday night too. Carnage.

I'm sure of a bit of contrast from seeing Animal Collective two nights before. Missed them the last time they were round. Never seen them. Not sure what to expect. Been avoiding watching any live footage so I get the full effect? Loud and trippy will do me.

Nice one! They were fantastic at Glasto a few years back.

they were great on Saturday. In Temple Bar Square in Dublin. They kind of had it made up like the Glade in Glasto. Really good.

Beer only at the bar though which was a bummer.

Django Django were great, good to see a refreshing sound for a change :)

refreshing maybe. Fresh ... I don't think so.

If they've not been visiting Brian Eno's output of 35-ish years ago and being ... erm ... very strongly influenced by him (that's a massive understatement!) then I'm a monkey's uncle.

I wasn't around going to gigs 35 years ago, it was refreshing to me ;)

But cheers for the heads up, will look into some of Eno's stuff around that time.

I'm off to see Alt J tonight and I will probably hate it as the crowd will be full of arses.

Well at least one... :P
