My mole scar has healed nicely (it was a scrape rather than incision, so to be expected). The result is... I can start back at the gym tomorrow. Yay!

It's been just over a week and I'm pure choking for some cardio.

It was handled perfectly, in my opinion. I loved the film.

What I am currently more concerned with was having to come through police incident tape to get into my own home afterwards. The neighbourhood is swarming with police and I've given a statement (which was "my daughter and I have been at the cinema, no one else was in the house") and all they will tell me is that there has been a serious assault, someone has been arrested and there is no cause for concern.

There must be a dozen police cars in total, SOCO are currently scouring the street outside my front window with torches and there are several taped off areas right outside my front door. I don't live in a great neighbourhood, I admit and whatever the hell has happened tonight is added to the shooting at the bottom of the street a few weeks ago and some poor bloke getting his head caved in with a claw hammer randomly outside a couple of years ago in the "this neighbourhood is goinf downhill" book.

It's the not knowing what the hell has happened that has freaked me out. I guess I'll have to wait til the morning news to find out. Worse still I have quit smoking and can't destress! Balls.

Hung the washing out early while the dew was still down, and I could see where the spiders had decorated our garden. There was a beautiful orb web in the centre of the rotary line, which was too magnificent to destroy, so I left it there, And our holly bush was swathed in net-like webs, that looked quite festive.

Then, on a 20 minute walk to the shops, alongside the park and through the castle grounds, I spotted a little grey squirrel and passed lots of ducks. And everyone was so friendly, smiling and saying hello. Sometimes I'm glad I don't drive.

I'm feeling quite strong emotionally at the moment. There is a person (not family or friend) who's passive aggressive, likes to make spiteful remarks and pass them off as jokes, and tries to leave me out of the loop.

Luckily, I have other people on my wavelength, who provide enough support and information for this to have little effect. I'm taking great satisfaction in refusing to allow this person to get to me, and (meanly I suppose) leaving them to stew in their own poison. I much prefer living inside my head than how it must be living inside theirs. And if they reached out instead of attacking, I could probably help them deal with their insecurity.

All in all, today has been a lovely positive, chilled day already.

Nice post, sorry about the crap you put up with (sadly the world is full of people for whom resentment, bitterness, anger and hatred are the ruling forces, it seems).

My drama last night turns out to be a stabbing outside my front door, my next door neighbour had to deal with it when it happened and I got home an hour or so later. So glad I missed that, I struggle with fear as it is.

On the bright side it is a beautiful day (wishing I was at bestival!) and I am doing some weeding in the garden on and off. Healing well and back to work in a week, no more sitting around with nothing to do but browse the web.

Decided I am going to buy a glastonbury ticket, regardless of health and try and find a way to attend in some lesser way (even if it means having to taxi offsite), so will be saving for that from here on out. Not having something to aim for just doesn't seem right.

Just got the upgrade of a life time after a mix up over double booked hotel rooms

So instead of sitting around just wishing I could play gigs in Camden, I decided to be a bit more productive and I set up a Facebook page, recorded a few Demos and sent them around various different venues, and it turns out that one of the venues listened to one, liked them and asked me if I wanted to play! Really excited about this as I though nothing would come off from it, but also very nervous!

Nice one, apparently it's going to be 28th September, I said to the guy who emailed me asking if I could play saying that I could do it but I haven't got a confirmation back yet, they must still be looking for other bands to play that night or something.

I have no likes left, but that's great news.

It can take alot of self control to not give in and end up looking the villain (the tactic of the passive aggressive is to make you lose control and look like the aggressor while they stand back with that self-satisfied snide look and feign innocence)

People often underestimate me, as I seem really unassertive. I genuinely don't like confrontation, and will try to resolve issues where possible. But I absolutely detest bullies, and once I've firmly established that I'm not being paranoid, misjudging them etc., then I'll fight my corner.

I also love it when people underestimate my intelligence and overestimate their own.

This made me laugh this morning. I received an email from my local medical school thanking me for the offer to donate my body when I die. There are some terms and conditions when they wont accept me which they will forward in the post, however they have said that they will pick me up free of charge. That really is one less worry as I had no idea how I was going to manage to get on the bus ;-)

This made me laugh this morning. I received an email from my local medical school thanking me for the offer to donate my body when I die. I know it's probably not rational but I just couldn't donate my body to a medical school. I don't want to be cremated either. Got to be a coffin in the ground job and being eaten away by bacteria and wiggly worms etc.
