Great episode of Sons,

I thought Gem was gonna crack when she was talking to Nero, then I knew Abel was gonna blab, but I thought it would be while they were in the room with Wendy. I really cant wait to see Jax's reaction

I started to watch "Anarchy Afterword" when it finished, which I watched last week, and was a clusterfuck of a show due to Bobby Munson appearing to be pissed. It was worse than last weeks. It was Sutter, with Hunnam and Tig, and was basically a circle jerk of them all complementing each other while sat round the reaper table. I turned off after 10 minutes. Truly awful.

Have watched a couple of Sutter vids before and while he makes great telly he's a self-absorbed twat. Can't watch Charlie Hunnam out of character because I want to shout "You're from fucking Newcastle, speak properly!" at him.

Wow - Jax is a geordie - didn't believe it when I saw your post, but he was even in Byker Grove on further investigation - sign of a true Newcastle lad.

My (ex) partner, who I'm best mates with and watching Sons with (we started watching from S01E01) bought a copy of Mens Health because he was on the cover and talking about his fitness regime.

I didn't have the heart to tell her it's both useless and rage-inducing to read about an actor's poncy personal trainer regime and how many curls they do.

Turns out Charlie hates weighs and doesn't use personal trainers, he has a personal calisthenics regime of crunches, squats, push-ups and muscle-ups (pull ups but continue till the bar's at your waist). It was a really interesting interview and was glad to read it.

Not going to affect my regime but it's nice to see an actor avoiding the gym/trainer route and doing bodyweight exercises on his own initiative. (And he can do 200 muscle-ups so he's a lot fucking stronger than he appears).

For once, the acting did seem to hold up to the storyline. Juice in particular has been great this series. I thought the Jax/Nero scene was great too. Bit of a bridge/filler episode, though obviously necessary for what's coming... 2 to go!
