Edit: just seen NoFX are playing a one off show on the 8th of August in Oxford and then a festival a few weeks after Reading in the UK.

Bit of a cop out getting Jimmy Eat World to headline after playing a main stage set.

They've done this before with JEW. Not impressed.

But the 'double-duty' band is a semi-tradition, it's happened with others as well. Why is it suddenly an issue now?

Yeah I'm pretty sure Jimmy Eat World have done it before, as well as Flogging Molly and Alexisonfire

Taking Back Sunday, Anti-Flag, the Blackout and Reel Big Fish announced for a festival in Wales the weekend before R&L, not sure if this has any bearing on the lock up but could see a couple playing lock up if not all playing the festival.

TBS are exclusives but can definitely see Anti Flag playing as it's been 2 years since they played last and that's far too long for a band to not play the lock up.

I would say both Reel Big Fish and Anti-flag are lock up headliners so I couldn't see both of them on the lock-up.

Anti-flag only subbed last time, they'd probably do the same again.

Reel Big Fish have been playing smaller venues and supported Less than Jake last time out so they could easily be a sub instead of headliner.

Well we've seen the positions they're announcing, and it includes Lock Up headliners, but no more than that.
