Isn't gunnersbury like 25k? Surely too big for that. Finsbury more likely

Was there talk of The National being around next year? Thought Matt was still doing his solo stuff and then next year may be likelier that they're recording instead.

I dunno, they might still have some (formidable) cool. But I guess it depends if they've been tapped up to do a Reading & Leeds spot instead given they don't tend to share a lot of acts with APE.

Robert Smith said they'd be touring this autumn (2025), but he has a habit of saying things and then not following through on them.
 

They will very likely be playing Royal Albert Hall in March next year as he has taken over from Roger Daltrey as curator of Teenage Cancer Trust. It would make sense a run of shows would then follow over spring/summer, not sure whether that would take the form of their own shows/festivals or hybrid (they don't tend to follow the patterns other bands do)

I have vague memories saying they were going to wrap it all up in 2028 or 2029. Would assume one last trip to Glasto on the cards.

 

APE feels small for them, but also they would do it too, if that makes sense. They'll go most places.
