We've got Nick Cave confirmed on Oct 6. The promoter published another pic with a 9, it seems we are getting a new confirmation on Oct 9.

Gorrilaz and Twenty One Pilots seem to be doing the same circuit as Nick Cave. Neither move the needle for me.

Rock Werchter will make an announcement tomorrow at 8 a.m. 9 a.m. in Portugal. Perhaps the 9 that the organizer posted could be that.

I like it. Been probably 7 times. Very corporate, wery well organised, small site, easy to get around. Never had a problem getting a good spot to watch a show (not on the main stage anyway), crowd are pretty chill too.

 

 

It's right on the train line very close to Lisbon.

 

Stay wise, we always stay out in Estoril or Cascais, which is by the beach but abuot 40 minutes on the train. Anywhere along that Lisbon/Cascais line would be fine to stay though as the trains run pretty much all night.
