based on what evidence? The fact that all the festivals are announcing early and Radiohead haven't been mentioned at all doesn't bode well imo...

Unfortunately, none! Just a hunch. But with RH, you tbh can never know enough for something to bode well or not, as it stands. But again, this is very much me daydreaming more than anything

the oracle has spoken. Did you tell Thom and Johny yet? lol

Radiohead and SOAD have already been announced, tickets have already been sold, last week Iron Maiden announced the shows, this week they are announcing the festivals, tomorrow with the Primavera lineup many new names will enter the summer festivals. The Cure are also around, that is to say, forget Radiohead and SOAD, their tour is already closed and more than closed.

Well, obviously them playing NOS Alive (or any festival, for that matter) would not be in regards to this particular tour. It would be an entirely new thing.

Besides, if their dates are already announced and sold out for this year, what harm is there in regards to new dates next year? It's a bit of a win-win situation. But nevertheless, I could still see them being added later on to PS. Not saying this makes much sense, but I think this is such an outlier situation that we can't rule out a thing like this

You are very optimistic.

you're basing this purely off one person with 2inside info" writing it on a forum thread. Let's be honest, you have absolutely no idea whether they'll tour. Whether they'll change their mind even. You might be right, but you might also be very wrong...

I was told before RH's 2025 tour being announced that I was always being (borderline too) optimistic. For months I've been telling my friends that it'd happen, even if my source was always "just trust me bro fr".

I'm keeping the same attitude ^^ Either way, it'd be a great name for Alive, right now. A return to that stage 10 years later, no less

I can see Radiohead doing nothing but studio work for the whole of 2026 and then announcing a big ass tour (stadiums, festivals) for 2027.

Makes sense.

Would be 30 years since there 1st Glastonbury headline appearance. I can't see them touring for 18-24 months.

I'm basing this on information from the director of a well-known festival here in Portugal!

But things change, nothing is certain, and hope is slim.

The level of coping in this thread is of the charts. SOAD and Radiohead won't be doing festivals in 2026, maybe 27

thats a given i think , at least to me.

still think Florence might be one of headliners

logistically doesnt make sense The cure being at NOS (but i´ve seen stranger things happen lol)

FF i truely think are RiR bound (due to the 2 cancellations covid and taylor´s death)

Yeah those are all reasonable speculations, although I personally wouldn't bet big on FF, but it isn't impossible.

Coping isn't quite the same as hoping and just speculating, but no worries

True, and going all in on Radiohead is definitely more than just hoping

SOAD certainly since they already announced. But of Radiohead we cannot be certain yet since it´s early autumn and they tend to announce festival dates very late.
