  1. I would not expect any new names at this point, unless there is a cancellation.
  2. Nick Cave performed at Primavera Porto in 2022 and in 2023, Blur did too, and both were announced in June at Kalorama. The Prodigy were not at Primavera but could be a late booking. That being said, there is no connection between the organizers of both festivals, so it's uncertain if this year will be the same.
  3. Usually, the June announcement is shared with other festivals such as Primavera Sound Porto (where Nick Cave and Blur both performed). Since I already have tickets for both, I guess it will be a bit underwhelming for me. My favorite band, The National, doesn't visit Portugal that often, so I'd put my money on them (/irony).
  4. Avril is playing at Cruilla at the 12nd, MadCool at the 13th. I think she is highly unlikely for NOS at this point.
  5. Last year, it was 4 artists at Thursday, 5 the other two days, typically including one Portuguese/smaller band. I would say there's a missing name on the main stage on the first day, as Parcels are on the Heineken stage. Three names for the second day (there's already one Portuguese artist to open the stage) and two names for the last day.
  6. + The Cat Empire - 13 July - Heineken + Parcels (already "announced" at the outdoors) - 11 July - Heineken (Good luck to everyone attending, myself included)
  7. It's probably Idles, as they're performing in Porto at the end of February, and it fits.
  8. Since the other names except Black Eyed Peas were on the leaked information, I would say that is the most likely scenario.
  9. Now that Pearl Jam has been announced, and tickets are expected to disappear in a few days, I would say that for the first time since 2017 (excluding the pandemic), I'll be skipping an Alive three day pass. The lineup isn't bad and has several good concerts, but nothing that compels me to buy a ticket. I would say that the right word so far is lukewarm, especially since Pearl Jam doesn't resonate with me. Maybe Smashing Pumpkins, but I've already seen them. If the headliner for the 11th is good, perhaps Billie Eilish or to see the Foo Fighters with Josh Freese, I might still buy a daily ticket. This year, I'm going to try Primavera Porto for the first time, and Kalorama continues to impress me with their lineups year after year, even though I hate the venue.
  10. They did last year, but it is pretty rare. Anyway, usually they do not announce at weekend, and they announced Sum41 last saturday so... I don't know anything anymore.
  11. Sam Smith again... why? Other than that, such an incredible line up
  12. They did the See you in 2025 and 2026 post, I would say those years will have the same place. But who knows? MadCool communication should be studied as "How not to handle social media".
  13. Guess the 20:25 theory was wrong.
  14. Both Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam have versions or covers of the Mountain Song, could be because of that and both be announced that day (which would be unusual for Alive).
  15. Was hoping for a King Gizzard surprise appearance, but there was a 1% chance. For me, have all the requests I had from Barcelona with The Last Dinner Party, Royel Otis, Justice and Mitski so I'm happy. The portuguese acts are pretty good but I already saw most of them. The midcard could be better tho, with more portuguese acts this here and less acts per day. But it will be my first Primavera Sound Porto and it will be fun!
  16. I guess Justice will be on Primavera Porto or even Kalorama since they usually share one act with Primavera (Blur in 2023, Nick Cave in 2022). LCD Soundsystem would be great tho.
  17. Well... it was about an announcement but.. it was a reunion of some music bands from a soap opera at the same site as Nos Alive. Close enough I guess.
  18. Maybe he just enjoys ballet and really liked this clip xD
  19. It may not mean anything, but Álvaro Covões (founder of the promoter behind NOS Alive) posted a Story on Instagram with a ballet dancer and nothing more. I would say it's a sign that something big is coming But last year, the same thing happened and it was to announce a Portuguese singer in our biggest arena, nothing related to NOS Alive.
