Defo think the Phonics have to be back after the fallow unless Kelly still thinks them headlining in 02 was the pinnacle and they don’t need to do it again. With them opening the Radio 2 festival, I could defo see a world with them as Pyramid sub or Other headliner now. Would be a great show.

 

Gambino would be an excellent Other headliner but I’m worried Donald Glover has retired the moniker early regardless of the cancelled shows and will just focus on acting etc. Would love to be proven wrong though!

Another shout is I’d love to see Feeder finally pop up somewhere. Think it’s been since 2003 since they last played and I’ve been going through their singles lately and they’d pull together a great setlist. Probably think Woodsies or early Other would be suitable for them.

Ill eat my hat if I'm wrong, but I think Radiohead is done.  

Would be like them to never announce that officially, but I just don't see it.   I think we are more likely to see The Smile show up.  Still think it's odd that they havent.

I am very surprised that they have not played in the last 3 festivals- the Smile that is . - I definitely agree we are not seeing Radiohead for a while at least

speculation i think - and tbh i think only evidence pointing towards it was that Colin mentioned that they had gotten together to play.  That was in sept of 24 though.  I suppose anything is possible.

May just have been speculation right enough, but it seemed to have a bit more to it than that. 

 

It was way more recent - just a few weeks back.  Quite a while after they formed the new company this year, even.

 

Seems to have gone quiet though.

To be fair they probably would be WH headliners but I see at least RTJ and/or Kano being the rap headliner in 2027 if they have new music out. But I would love to see them back at the farm regardless so hopefully they get the spot they deserve.

After seeing Sabrina bring them out at Lollapalooza, would love to see Earth, Wind & Fire make a return to the farm!

Going back to Stereophonics, they subbed T when they were always big in Scotland and as far as I know, we're supposed to sub TRNSMT in 2018 before the lineup got hacked to bits because of the orange walk.

I do wonder who they would have to book as counter-programming on the day if Swift does play in the next few years. Chems would be a great shout for Other headliner but I wonder if they would have to get some artists who are a bit more exclusive or haven’t played the festival in a while/ever?
