Thursday and Friday there are crazily stacked for me, the point I could take a handful of bands and spread them to the other two days in a perfect world. Saturday I might have to do a deep dive on some of the smaller names to get a really good day, and worst case scenario a Sunday final flourish of Rise Against > A Perfect Circle > Moby > The Cure would be one of the best ends to a weekend I'd had on paper.

Top tier line up in today's world, just need to get a crew together now.

Just listened to modern Elvis Costello last year live on YouTube and what a shame, his voice is not it.

Way I see it from the clashfinder now:

THURS: Balu Brigada, All Them Witches/Basht, The Vaccines, Yard Act, Karen Dio, Pup into Jade into The War on Drugs into The Prodigy, wrapping up the night with Blood Incantation

FRI: Kingfishr, Wolf Alice, Cardinals, Viagra Boys (heartbreaking clash), Keo, Franz Ferdinand, Kae Tempest, Radio Free Alice, Agnes Obel, Charlotte De Witte, The XX

SAT: Landmvrks, The New Eves, Palaye Royale, Man Woman Chainsaw, Kneecap, Florence Road, Renee Rapp, Ecca Vandal, Matt Berninger, Twenty One Pilots, Pixies, CMAT

SUN: Bad Nerves, Westside Cowboy, Newdad, Mogwai, A Perfect Circle, David Byrne, Ethel Cain (all of Moby I care about is Extreme Ways), Psychonaut, The Cure

Thats worked perfectly for me. No rushing to XX after FKA Twigs and no clash with Ethel and The Cure.

I did think of you when I saw it.  Big bonus for you

Still a headliner or sub in Klub C Saturday to come

Yes https://clashfinder.com/s/rockwerchter26/

And it shows that the poster lacks one artist at Klub C on Saturday

It's not lacking anyone, confirmed as the full lineup in the release. CDW is a big add, nothing else but nothing expected either.

Just seen it as well and I didn't think FKA Twigs was a strong barn headliner option really but CDW clashes with Lewis and The Warning so it's a good addition but not a helpful one lol.

But why announce everyone but one ?

I’d imagine someone dropped out.  They moved Beirut to the barn so things are always moving.  They’ll just add the extra person when they announce the times etc…

Social Distortion not clashing with TLDP is decent but I can catch them at Download anyway.  It's filled out better through the day than last year. I'd have 16 acts to see with 13 actually viable which isn't too bad. Friday and Saturday are very gappy though and 3 nights with no finishing act.

I could make a decent weekend I think but better than elsewhere what I could do unsure. Take The Cure though and last year's headliners and its a great setup.

A few days sold out and RW goes directly into budget mode. Very underwhelming announcement, that won't convince many sitting on the fence, but a lot of bands I have no relationship with, so that might call for a positive surprise or two..

I don‘t like that Tom Smith vs. The War on Drugs Clash… Can imagine many don‘t like that clash knowing how popular Editors are in Belgium. It‘s a senseless clash, two of the same kind. They could bring on Tom in the afternoon…

Yeah a lot of decisions for people, especially with having to get in the barn early ish for The Prodigy too

damn, didn't think of that. I'll just have to stick around after jade and miss out on tom smith

Yeah think that’s what I’ll do.  Was thinking Klub C is close and you could poke your head out the back to check if it was getting full in the barn? But…. Risky

Saturday and Sunday are sold out but Saturday should be the easiest to sell out. Charlotte in the last announcement was decent but I'm not sure what people expected for a last 25?, it was very clear the top half was full already.

25 of the last 50 was just the slope which had a couple of decent options. I have a lot of options there but if The Cure and Moby were not on Sunday I wouldn't consider at all dont think. I'm going to have an all round look at the weekend at what interests me the most. If The Cure and Moby didn't clash at Mad Cool my decision would be sorted very easily.

How likely is the Barn to close when the 1-before-last act is on? I wonder how early I need to get to the Barn to see David Byrne and The Prodigy..

Also, I wonder about the last Klub C name. Maybe they can book De La Sol? It seems like they tour with Gorillaz anyway (looking at other festivals)

They played last year so probably doubtful.

from experience, maybe 30 mins before and you should be absolutely fine

The Barn doesn't close anymore, they have removed the doors so it's open at the back but it will get packed for sure. Especially for the Prodigy, I'd recommend being there half an hour in advance if you want to stand a chance at seeing them  from inside.

De La Sol were there last year on the main and in my opinion they were really really bad.
