Assuming that's right I reckon we'll get one massive drop of all 25/26 names at the end of the month. I'm going to try and hold off until then hoping tickets don't sell out as I really like the look of Way Out West too (and I've never been) but the line ups are very similar at the top so it'll be either/or. I think my plan now is a combo of Rock for People/Rock Werchter or a combo of Pinkpop/Way Out West for the best combo of different bands; I just want the full scope of the line ups so I can make an informed decision before the flights/hotels get too silly haha

I'm finding Thursday okay spread wise, Friday a little leas and going by clashfinder that Social Distortion/TLDP clashing would be a pain. Saturday and Sunday, especially the latter very late on top heavy, I like Rise Against but I'm in no rush to see them again so soon after Download. Its going s bit similar to last year, better slope overall for me, some nicer undercard names but headliners last year were a completely different level, that's where Werchter has been outdone by a lot of festivals this year. They have got the combo of The Cure and Moby not clashing which is going for them.

Been looking through this afternoon and of course all very much clash permitting  but Thursday and Friday are absolutely rammed for me already.  Saturday there’s lots of acts I’m happy to watch without having any must sees and then Sunday there’s a couple of big acts I’m happy with but I could do with some more filler in the day (although that’s the day with most to announce so that bodes well)

Overall all looking good for an amazing weekend

It feels a lot easier to plan than previous years. Friday for me is stacked on the main stage, I can't see myself deviating too far from that. I have to think about how to manage around the world cup games, and apart from mumford and sons every other headliner is a must watch so I'm going to have to find some time for lie-ins hopefully I won't miss too many acts early on saturday/sunday. Basically all day thursday/friday and later in on saturday and sunday. I was really burnt out on the last day, I always go at the first days a bit too hard 😄 and I want to be good for Gorillaz especially and also the Cure...normally I like to get in as many acts as possible but this year I'll have to focus on the ones I want to see. I guess it just goes to show the success of the park

Give him a listen mate. He's been a part of Vulfpeck for a while now. Very talented Jazz/Funk artist. I would guess he will be on Klub C. But if acts are self announcing, the official announcement must be imminent...

Will do.  Cheers mate

Over on Festileaks they all seem to think he’ll be 1 of the top 2 in Klub C on the Sunday

Have gone through the vast majority of the slope and the standouts for me are Basht., Keo, Cardinals, Westside Cowboy  and Newdad.  Also think The Reytons and The Warning will be fun headlong that stage.

Overall very good again

Wonder if Letlive will get added this year considering they have June dates in the uk and they were due to play last

Leak was for the Slope stage last time wasn't it? Still think they'd fit on that stage best. If playing Werchter, I'd also expect them at more genre-focused festivals around the same time like Jera on Air but don't think they've been announced for anything else yet.

Was just a date last time rather than a stage but I think presumption was always The Slope.

Maybe low on Klub C I guess, we shall see soon I suppose.  Plenty of acts that fit those remaining spots though

@BlackFoxx they’re at Grasspop… forgot that

Ah that makes sense, closer match to the UK dates just announced too. Hoping we might still get one or two heavier hardcore/punk type acts announced.

Oh and an update of what is left:

Thursday:

2 Main Stage
1 Barn
2 Klub C

Friday:

0 Main Stage
3 Barn
3 Klub C

Saturday:

1 Main Stage
2 Barn
3 Klub C

Sunday:

3 Main Stage
2 Barn
4 Klub C

Do we think there's still some good quality acts available? I'm worried that as it stands I'm struggling to fill Thursday and Sunday with anything decent

Obvs all depends on personal tastes but you’ve got more chance on Sunday due to the amount of acts still to be announced.

Personally I could do with a couple of extras on Saturday and Sunday if possible.  Won’t be long till we find out I guess.  Last year’s final announcement had the likes of London Grammar, Finneas, Sigrid, Bright Eyes, Foster the People, Faye Webster & Damiano David so guess there’ll be more names of that sort of size to come

they were at jera on air last year, and suitably great.

I will admit i know absolutely nothing about cory wong, harry mack or don west, but at least it doesn't create clashing headaches for what's already there. Guessing mostly barn/klub c acts?

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
