Some of you would probably go door to door, trying to root out, or hunt out Jews and Israel-supporting folk, without ever seeing the horrific parallels to a certain time in history...

I’ve only just got back and only just read the opening post on this topic.   Wake up people. Bobby wasn’t shouting for people being killed, he was shouting for an end to the IDF.    T

Never have I seen a crowd openly shouting for death on someone/group at a Glastonbury performance. I don't think I've even seen that level of hatred and incitement and open calls for killing at an EDL

From the article you have shared -  the Israeli military operation in Gaza, which was described as a genocide by a UN Commission of Inquiry report in September 2025, and by the world’s leading association of genocide scholars in the same month.

Unless you’ve any evidence of this please don’t throw out allegations and if you have then please report it to moderation team for it to be dealt with . I’d very much suggest it’s the former as I’ve read the entire thread

I'm just going to lock this thread as it's gone from being about Bob Vylan's actions at Glastonbury, to being used to provoke conversations about Israeli bombing that are better suited to the International Politics thread than the Glasto section.

 

If something comes out about Bob Vylan chants feel free to DM me or a mod of your choice and we can look into re-opening it.

      There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.

      It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
