usually around 9am isnt it ? just think I often have to nip to the toilet to get my first glimpse then have a better look on my breakfast break later

You paint a great image of yourself sitting in a cubicle with your pyramid hat just on view above the door, desperately scanning the poster on your phone, shouting yeesss when you see a band you like😊😉😊

Then it would put us out of our misery speculating who might be a headliner.

Although some would argue that's part of the fun.

its clearly our busiest thread ... its not all about the headliners though , or maybe it is more than people care to let on

How does it actually work, the poster release...

Do they notify the news and social media outlets prior and that's how we get an idea?

Yeah, a couple of outlets find out so they can get their stories ready but then prob 2 mins before it drops theyll get the info so they can just insert key names into their story and thats that. pretty common. Its just smaller events give you the whole thing like a full day early and with Glasto it would be a big no no to do that cause somebody could get that out.

Its not like we wont know its coming. I give it 10 days.

    • Given the assumptions and little bits around Madonna, that BST and Paris post is probably right (few weeks later than the original post).   Just adds to the speculation that - they thought they had Madonna, and now they don't.   I can see what's gonna happen here - they end up booking Oasis and Fontaines for 2028. I don't get a ticket, and have to get out of the country + delete all socials.   That would end me if it happened and I wasn't there.
    • Looking at other Superstruct festivals this year, The Prodigy haven’t played Tramlines yet, and it’s been a while since Two Door Cinema Club have.   Those two seem likely headliners on how they tend to rotate bands.   Fontaines DC would be incredible but possibly a little too big now, Geese are having a good rise, would be great as a newer band to headline
    • Automated sessions and BOTs dont sleep.
    • I’ve secured tickets once since 2007. I’ve done 11 festivals in that time.  Thankfully I have friends with better luck!
