I'll be very disappointed if it isn't Thursday now. Built an entire day of drinking around it already.

Sounds like me  most everyday. A daily long walk built around a pub visit. Retirement has its benefits. Thursday seems to be as good a guess as any.

Important question about the poster - how do you want it to be formatted? The colourful alphabetical list of 2023 or the grey stage splits of 2024. Personally I choose the former, thoughts and opinions please?

Just make it legible, should be ok as long as the designer has kept off the acid😉

It'd be good if they released the stage splits like last year. Would prevent endless discussion about where bands are playing.

That being said though, if they never released the stage splits we probably would have collectively decided on better stage placements for some of the acts from last year - some daft decisions were made.

Just a random thought. I wonder if the first poster drop will list the acts under the name of the stages they will be playing, the same as the first poster in 2024. Or just a list of acts with no stage details, as in the first poster in 2023.

I really wonder if we'll get more of that type of daft stage programming this year, or whether Glasto improved things.

It’s the same every year. The Pyramid and The Other Stage make ridiculous decisions on order of acts. Pyramid almost seems strangely random. West Holts generally get it more or less right. The Park do a reasonable job. No idea about Woodsies I barely bother looking and who cares about Avalon or Acoustic.

Silver Hayes, Arcadia and SE corner are a different thing and generally do a good job. Glade understand how to build the vibe up during the day.

I don't think we will - last year wasn't the only year they've made daft programming decisions. Personally I think i've noticed it from about 2016 onwards

They do always tend to book the odd couple of acts on West Holts/Park that are way too big for the slot. Thinking of Sugababes and Barry Can't Swim last year for example
