As weird as it may sound, I've been wondering if he could eschew some stadiums as club venues.

Wembley has no affiliation, bar that brief period where Spurs were there.

It may seem silly, but I do wonder.

I get what you mean, given how much the identity he's pursuing got wrapped up in football tribalism, but you'd think the prestige of doing a huge London stadium show would outweigh that.

... either that or he ends booking the non-football venue Twickenham aka London's most out of the way stadium gig venue possible to book.

he apparently doesn't actually care that much and is using it a lot for marketing

Could easily just play at the emirates or wherever, really don't think anyone would bat an eyelid

I'd expect they'll try and shift BST first before adding the dates. Hell, if demand is there, they may do two at BST - though I doubt it.

Get this one on the market, then add half-a-dozen arenas - Manchester, Birmingham (x2), Glasgow, Cardiff and Newcastle, probably - over the fortnight beforehand.

What's the deal with the pre-sale? I signed up for it, joined the queue just after 10:00 only to find that there were not enough tickets, in other words they'd sold out...   Will they release more in the pre-sale (which goes on for another 2 days), does anyone know?

Try other presales - american express usually have some tickets so maybe get someone you know with a card to grab some for you?

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
