Am I that far out of the loop that I don't know who this is?

No idea, but I'm pretty confident in saying it's not for me, in the same way that Morgan Wallen wasn't going to be this year

Do you think the tour is already planned? Probably the last tour they will do so perhaps arena's is more

They did say they were only talking recently and Hyde Park have most likely locked in all their acts so probably yeah. We'll see what happens. Intrigued to see what the heavier rock acts this year are.

Another shout for Hyde Park next year - Bon Jovi  - they have announced they are touring in 2025?

bon jovi gotta play wembley.

IF they ever tour , it will be their last tour because of jon´s voice. They gotta wrap it up in the UK in Wembley.

There is no way around it

I'd have thought they'd have enough cache to do their own stadium shows tbh.

No idea if Wembley is an essential in their mythology or even if there's room at Wembley for 2025 with Oasis and Coldplay have already block-booked a ton of dates there.

    • Would Slayer & Gojira both headline Hellfest? I think Deftones & Slipknot will be in Europe again.
    • Had a dig at what splits might look like (for Leeds):   Fri -    Main - Chase and Status / Florence / Role Model / Blossoms (SG) / The K's / Arthur Hill / Dylan John Thomas / Westside Cowboy / The Clause   New Stage - Kneecap / Kettama / Duke Dumont / Holly Humberstone / Paris Paloma / December 10 / Violet Grohl / Alex Spencer / Kilu   Sat -    Main - Charli XCX / Fontaines / Skepta / Geese / Skye Newman / Keo / Overpass / Rose Gray / Unpeople   New Stage - Declan McKenna / James Marriott / DJ EJ / Florence Road / Clementine Douglas / Cardinals / Bleech 9:3 / Vilanelle / Day We Ran    Sun -    Main - Dave / Raye / Sombr / ??? (Gunna at Reading) / Kingfishr / Nine Vicious / Maisie Peters / Slayyyter / Clara La San   New Stage - Jade / Josh Baker / Rossi / Absolutely / Speed / Gurriers / Basht / Cruz Beckham & the Breakers / Ruby Roberts    I'm guessing alongside the Warehouse there's likely going to be another stage as there's a number of smaller acts not included in those two stages above (possibly just BBC Intro)
    • but you could say that for many fortunately some are prepared to drop
    • But it’s still an hour to go and the line grows every minute
