Oasis

My guess. Knebworth plus Europe and North America. Maybe some gigs in Asia.

A few weeks into the Reunion someone spoke about a big UK Tour plus Europe. But since then the only UK dates folks mentioned are the gigs in Knebworth. I expect them to play there from mid to the end of july. Right after Iron Maiden.

By the way: Announce the damn gigs...

Ride announced a show the other day. Not sure whether that indicates no Oasis shows next year as Andy? I get the impression if they do carry on, they want to keep going with these band members.

In September 2026. So plenty of time for some gigs in the summer.

Loved this

No way thats the end of it. Far too much cash on the table.

I agree. It’s been well received and the potential to make double or triple what they’ve already made so far has to be tempting.

I guess they could take 2026 off, but they run the risk of getting in another spat between each other or fan interest waning over time.

Must admit, I don't think fan interest wanes. Enough people I know who didn't make it and wanted to go, and enough people who would buy in again, I'd imagine.

But it will be fascinating to see what unfolds from here.

Agree with this, would take a few years of saturated touring for the interest to die off and they aren't daft enough to do that from what we are hearing!

Plus they all seemed to genuinely enjoy the tour - in fact for me their clear enjoyment and enthusiasm was what made the experience all the better. Obviously that enjoyment is not infinite but I'd have thought there are some outstanding venues to tick off in their minds.

What wast the poster, was it posted here??

Think it was pretty viral at the time, so would have been on here somewhere.

Have pretty good info that there's no tour in 2026, but back out in 2027.

Several nights at the Etihad and Celtic Park included.

Not sure if the 'no tour in 2026' line still means there'll be a few Knebworth gigs though.

The last time Celtic Park hosted gigs was almost 30 years ago .

I know. No issue. The main reason is because Hampden Park was re-developed in 1999, and is set up to deal with large events.

For what it's worth, Harry Styles played at Ibrox in 2022 and that was the first time in 15 years, and the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony was at Celtic Park in 2014.

As much as I would love to see Oasis again, part of me thinks that if this was just it, then it would be perfect. There was so little hype from them in terms of promo, interviews, etc. It was like Oasis just came back to give the world the joy it needed for a summer and then just rode off into the sunset, finishing the story on their own terms

You’d think if they’re doing Knebworth next year that it’d be announced already no?

Whilst I agree with you I think they could announce they're playing it next week and it would probably sell out between now and then.

Very true. Would just seem really weird leaving it until December or next year when they announced the initial shows quite early in comparison but I suppose they know the demand is there.

No shows in mainland europe. Last show in South America. It was a fantastic tour. But that's not how the story of Oasis should end.

    • Personal Trainer start a UK tour on 6 Sept and have featured a times. They were kind of there last year in the form of Long Fling (a great set in the Tipi). I could see them being a secret set in the Tipi again. I don’t remember the Bollox new name for the Tipi and never will.

    • I too am always a bit blurred on what/who constitutes a legend slot but would Sting fit that bill?  Those there said his IoW slot was v good and he has enough of a songbook imo for a Sun afternoon if he uses the Police's 1st 2 albums for a fair chunk of it
