If the dates are coming I would expect by the end of next week to allow for ticket sales for start of December.

They announced the dates on a tuesday and started the ticket sale three days later. So at the end of november/first week of december is possible. Can't see them waiting until the start of 2026.

Live Forever: The Story of Oasis — An Evening with Ted Kessler & Hamish MacBain – The Venue, ICMP (Queens Park Campus)

https://www.tickettailor.com/events/instituteofcontemporarymusicperformance1/1912922

I’ve arranged a book event where I work with Ted Kessler & Hamish MacBain who will be discussing their book ‘A Sound So Very Loud’.

We’ve got Ace from Skunk Anansie interviewing them, they’re going to bring a quiz and they’ll be curated music for the evening and a bar so will be a really good night.

It would be great if you could attend, but if not, please share with friends, family or members of the public wearing Fred Perry garments or cagoules who look as if this would interest them…

Hope to see you there on the night!

This book is a good read.

What wast the poster, was it posted here??

It was doing the rounds a few weeks ago. It's probably earlier in the thread.

I remember seeing a version that had the Newcastle United football stadium on it, hence why it came of interest to this Magpies fan. But others up there weren't convinced.

There‘s been several different rumors for next year from more or less credible sources. Madrid, Glasgow, Knebworth (or London), Munich, Prag. Also Liam said „See you next year!“ on stage in London.

Don‘t think they scrapped those plans.

Nothing credible has been said to to the specific level you're describing, all that's really been said is that there'd probably be something happening next year.

Anything that mentioned specific venues in the UK at least like Knebworth for example has been pure speculation, with people believing it was inevitable simply because it's Knebworth.. Then that noise just got loud enough that people assuming there must be something behind it.

Similar in Ireland where Slane was being mentioned for a while in the same way, and people were swearing blind that Oasis would definitely be playing there, but is now effectively ruled out.

Yeah, but so much noise from different places proves something was in the planning phase.

But I am with you in one point: All those leads didn‘t get as concrete as you‘d expect them by now when it‘s only two weeks away from an annoucement.

But why would they slow down their momentum for a full year (two actually - summer 25 to summer 27)? Europe is one of the biggest markets and it hasn‘t even been touched yet.

In the planning phase, probably. But it's not unusual for major acts to sketch out what a potential tour would look like before they've decided whether they actually want to do it or not.

Tbh in this case, the momentum is going to be there regardless of when they choose to pull the trigger, or what the tour looks like. They'd sell out 2027 shows every bit as easily as they would for 2026 (and vica versa).

Just a quick reminder that our Oasis event is happening on Thursday the 20th at ICMP Queen’s Park.

It’s shaping up to be a fantastic night and marks the launch of a whole new series of author talks I’m putting together over the next few months.

We’re kicking things off with Miranda Sawyer, who’ll be joining us to chat about ‘Uncommon People’, her brilliant new book on Britpop. And then next year we’ll have Keith Cameron talking about his Manics book, Debsey Wykes sharing insights on Teenage Daydream, and plenty more exciting guests on the way.

Can’t wait to see you there!

I suppose that's the middle ground - do Europe next year but skip UK until 2027?
