Does this mean no NIN nor Jack White at Rock Werchter? No room left for them really is it?

Plenty of room Friday and still expect someone strong on Saturday.

NIN aren’t anywhere though so doubt they’ll be appearing

Would certainly look a bit stronger for me if Weezer and Franz Ferdinand were there. Can't lie I think it looks like a bit of a mess at the minute for the price outlay and I think sadly it'll be another year of no Werchter for me, but for those that do go I hope you all have a great time!

Agree! That would start to save it for me, but otherwise those two first batches doesn't give me anything, and is yet another example of the recycling. Never before have I been lees enthusiastic around x-mas (not even last year), so I really start to worry that I bought myself an early Christmas present with no reason. As of now only Linkin Park and Green Day are bands I need to see, and unfortunately there aren't much to discover either, so the rest I've seen plenty of times or I know from before that they are not my taste.

Crossing my fingers for the fact that Elbow was right (although I don't see any reason why just those two should be kept out of the announcement).

Still hoping for both Biffy Clyro and Weezer. Thursday looks incredible so far. Hoping the current genre focus of each day is just them trying to push day tickets early and that it'll balance out a bit more once more acts are added.

    • I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
    • The eulogies are flooding in.   The list I've seen so far is Jenrick,  Hartley-Brewer, Hopkins, Lowe, Pearson   Tells you all you need to know about him...
