Yes, that´s probably true. I just meant for my personal music taste Werchter isn´t always worth the ticket price. Anyway, we´ll see where we are when more acts are announced.

Honestly man no event is worth the ticket price if your needs aren't met.

They could have booked LP, Green Day, Billie Eilish, O-Rod and had Metallica. If it's not your cup then it doesn't matter.

Would pay £500 for headliners Bjork, Radiohead, Nick Cave and XX.. 😃

There is that one song from Bjork that I thought was alright, back in the days of cable tv/ntl? when my sister lived her so we shared lol. She's been moved out 15 years at least.

1st saw her in 1992 in the Sugarcubes era, been obsessed since. The only tattoo's I have is off Bjork.

Absolutely no idea what camping to go with.  Was going with the hive my space but there’s 5 of us and not sure we’d fit into the 6 person one with our tents.  Bit of a jump in price to the 10 person spot.

wondering if just getting hive tickets might be better at 42 euros

I haven't seen the different options under hive space?, just they start from a higher price.

We booked a 4 person space for just the 2 of us at Hive myspace last year - 4x4m wasn't as big as we'd thought it would be. Saying that (if you ignore the partial flooding overnight!) it was better than trying to find our tent in the sea of others at the normal Hive like we had to in 2021. We went with another couple then and it was a scrum to even get two tents together once the rope lifted. It looked like in the Hive the larger spaces came with a picnic table and chair this year. The free showers also made up for the price difference.

I am finding as I start to push the wrong side of 40 that I appreciate my sleep as much as "daytime/reasonable but not crazy late night" partying, so will maybe look at the Resort this year. No sleep 'til 5am on the last night because of more carefree spirits whose are public transporting/getting a ride back doesn't make for a fun drive back to the South West of England later that same morning😂

We’ve decided to get the big 10 space pitch for 5 of us (well 1 more might join too).  The next one down was the pitch for 6 but I don’t think we’d fit.  And you’re right, we get a picnic table too 😂

I think we would take our own tents with us purely to able to have our own tents and space. Probably only two of us going meaning the cost is quite a lot and the space fairly small until you go upto 4 and then then it's still one tent pitched or to rent on offer.

€300 each vs €42 and taking your own tent.

Is it €300 each?? I’d read it as being able to get a pre pitched 2 person tent (tipi) for about €125 each which I didn’t think was too bad when travelling.

I'm sure all the options are per set rather than each.

Funny to see where Sam Fender is on this line-up..

He's not that big in Belgium hence it's very surprising but he's probably paying for then being able to book the other 3 which no other European or UK festival in fairness is probably going to have this year. I was sure there was a festival with Justin Timberlake, Green Day and Olivia which ain't a bad shout either. I would 100% have taken Justin over Fender.

Which are?

Drinking looks like this. Imagine a giant rectangle, where there's another rectangle inside. The smaller rectangle is the Main Stage and Alter Stage area. You can drink vodka, wine, 7% beer - you name it - in a bigger rectangle - let's call it outside. If you want to get to a smaller rectangle (inside) - your cup needs to be empty. Or you can stand in front of the fence and try to have fun from the distance.

If you wanna get from left side of the festival area to the right side of ther festival area, You need to have an empty cup or go all the way around.

Same rules apply when it comes to Tent Stage, which is located very up high. What is funny - Flow Stage isn't as separated by security as the other stages are. So  - same place, different standards.

Poland 🙂

Some nice names, headliners a bit iffy[apart from green day).

Would be good to see Beth Gibbons and Wisp. Beth gibbons in the barn? Wisp in the slope? Wisp probably a good chance as she's getting spots at major festivals and is at Roskilde same weekend.

A bit gutted I've only recently got into wisp music, as she played APE when I was there for mitski day.

He's no Editors, is he?

But this is a fair reflection of his US level right now. I genuinely think if he doesn't crack it this time, he'll pack it in. The problem you have when you're specifically massive in just the UK and not many other places is that the touring revenue can dry up if you over-egg the territory in terms of exposure.

The price is split. So not per person.

I did the pre pitched myspace for the first time 2 years ago. First year 2 person pre pitched and this year 4 person. Holy Moly. Totally worth it.

Just to check, you can buy different camping options after you've bought the main ticket right? If I get the Combi ticket now in the presale then I can decide camping a bit later once I've worked out group size and whether I want to take my own tent or one of the pre-pitched options?
