Recent precedent is split on that tbf. Blur played a lot of mainland Europe shows along with their main two big Wembley dates, whereas Pulp were UK only last year and are now playing everywhere but the UK this year.

Pulp never really broke America but are playing there next month.

 

In their last tour in 2008, Oasis were playing large theatres or small arenas in America, which I think was about the level they got to.

When did the US become the yardstick for rock n roll bands? Most of the best ones are from England. 

 

US kids listen to RnB and hip hop mostly. They have abysmal taste in music and I know that as I used to live there.

I mean, even if this run of gigs is as per the reports (longish runs of London and Manchester gigs) it still sounds like it's arranged so that they only ever need to be sharing the same space when they're together when onstage.

I guess it depends what actually materialises and how many years they stick around. It's not inconceivable they have made up, Noel divorced and their Mum must be old and it was a 15 year feud over not much as far as i can tell

Presumably $60-65 or whatever this ticket price ended up being with fees is going to be a lot cheaper than anything this run of shows will be going for.
