It’s fine because they are white it seems. Serious micro-aggressions on display if “violence” is a reason try and slam the SZA booking.

It’s always POC artists that get hit with the “violence” card I find. Nick Cave can say what he wants though, he’s a proper bloke.

It would be great. I think he should be looked at as a headline option in the future.

If you actually read and understood the lyrics and nuance behind the song you’d realise how silly that point is.

Small crowd? She just played to a mammoth crowd in Argentina. Maybe those of a certain age are underestimating?… just saying https://x.com/celestlaly/status/1769181907412017296?s=46&t=s8JaXm6AAoOO2OryjpGKSg

    2025 Headliners

I personally think we’re going to get one of Travis Scott or Playboi Carti headlining in the next few years.
  7. I think with inflation even the “cheaper” or “mid-level” acts that they used to pull in smaller slots are getting harder to secure. Doesn’t help when these acts can headline other events instead.
  8. I feel like this but think some of this is my own doing. I go to festivals every year, I regularly go to gigs, and my list of acts I’d love to see but not had the chance to yet is getting smaller and smaller every year. Also think it’s a mentality thing. When you see acts when they are small, you become a blind to their growth and struggle to imagine them in high slots. I have friends who have this view often, they will say stuff like “I saw Dua in the John Peel a few years ago… I don’t see her as a headliner”. I still see Bicep as this small DJ act that couldn’t sell out venues. When they get massive billings and huge crowds it feels odd to me. It’s definitely a shared experience.
  9. My review. Not the hardest hitting Glastonbury lineup, although there are a number of bookings that I reckon will be super f**king good on the day. Dua, SZA, LCD, Little Simz, Shania, Seventeen, Olivia Dean, Camila Cabello, Avril Lavigne, Bombay, Bloc Party, Confidence Man, Justice, Sugababes, NoName, Sampha, Orbital, Barry will all be great I think. Dua, SZA, LCD, Simz, Shania, Avril, Bombay, Bloc Party, Confdience Man, Sampha is enough to make me happy at the moment. Hopefully I can see them all.

It came from someone who had accurate AM, Royal Blood and TRNSMT info last year.

You know this has to happen at somepoint right? If you get older and move away from what’s current lineups will start becoming unfamiliar.

SZA booking has restored my faith in the festival tbh. I got a bit worried with how uninspired the AM and GNR bookings were last year. I can understand why they booked GNR, don’t get me wrong, but I think when a slot comes available they should take more of a punt. Especially when they already had a mega headliner like Elton bagged.

I personally reckon there is a heritage name billed top line if they have Coldplay, Dua, SZA headlining. Pulp or Stevie Nicks is my guess. if I was a betting man for pyramid heads/subs Coldplay / LCD Soundsystem Dua Lipa / (Pulp or Stevie Nicks) SZA / Burna Boy Doja Cat, Kasabian, The National as other headliners. Although wouldn’t be surprised if we get Catfish instead of Kasabian.

I’ve been unable to log into my old account for ages and just gave up. Would rather just let it be. Not desperate about getting it back.

Been a while since I’ve posted on here (new account don’t know where the old one is). Just came to say SZA is a top headliner. It’s a push, but they won’t regret it in a few years.
