Honestly the amount of people talking about packing for all eventualities really irritates me. Bring your clothes. Make a call last minute for wellies. Buy a poncho on site if it rains.

Unfortunately packing for us starts this evening as we've a ferry to catch Monday morning... need to prepare for all eventualities

20 is plenty if the sun's out, it's 18c and sunny today up norf and it's really warm.

Those are great temperatures for traversing site.

Still some caution for me, even with the more favourable model runs over the last 12 hrs. Models generally don’t handle features that  develop from the continent, very well (like the one across SE England at the weekend in the 06z). Wouldn’t be suprised to see some flip flopping over the next few days with that so get ready for a bit of a roller coaster of emotions.

Lol What you on about? It's too late now they're past the cutoff for any more changes.

I think we can anticipate this, aye.

I'm packing up camping gear and clothes today to load up the car tomorrow. Working Monday and have a ferry to get on Tuesday morning as well from Belfast to Liverpool.

When you arriving on site? You going from Dublin or Rosslare? I did Dublin ferry in 2022 but was a really early start.

I'm all weathered out now but packed and ready to go tommorow.  I may be able to give site  updates as and when. Barring a huge  black swan event we are way off worst case scenario and for that I thank the Rain Gods please continue to shine down on us with your gracious sun.

Amen

Wednesday is wet wet wet... Hope it doesn't stay another day.

I just realised I got my boy bands mixed up for a second... Not something to be ashamed of though so I'm leaving it 😛

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
