Billie Eilish is a cert for this I think given the Sziget dates. Big question is do we get Blur? Slim chance but you never know

Headliners can be probably whittled down to 3 of BE, Florence, Blur, Stormzy, and Imagine Dragons.

I'll go BE, Florence and Stormzy with Macklemore closing the Florence night.

Please not imagine dragons, they are utter shite.

No cert

Fair comment.

Anyone but Imagine fucking Dragons please, that better? 🙂

anyways... Foals, Moderat, M83, Sam Fender, Jamie XX, Youngblud, Nothing But Thieves, Frank Carter, The Comet Is Coming, Viagra Boys, Amyl And The Sniffers, Kelly Lee Owens playing Sziget. All very likely names for PKP undercard... Not a bad start.

Yeah fingers crossed for a good undercard although you can add Ellie Goulding to that list as well. Frequency Festival announcing more names tomorrow as well.

is there a way we can have a whip round to pay PKP to not book Imagine Dragons? I think they are pretty much bolted on, how did they get so popular? Tiktok or something? God I feel like im in that south park episode with the tween music that just sounds like fart noises when listening to them.

Theres generally always one duff headliner, let's hope it's just limited to ID

another Q -after camping originally in chill then moving to relax its even getting too much for my old body. I barely hopped between the arena and campsite like i would in years past and just stayed in the arena the whole day once i headed over.

Theres 7 of us that usually go, expecting one drop off this year - any good hotel recommendations in Hasselt or is it worth the money to stay in the wee shed accommodation they set up?

Cheers!

We stay at the H Hostel but it looks to be full this year. Maybe worth emailing them. We normally book through booking.com but they've taking bookings via email this year which is a bit weird. Not even sure if we've got it booked this year as they were all very casual about it. I need to follow it up.

Holiday Inn, holiday Inn express, Radisson etc are all decent, central hotels but pricey for that weekend. Always worth checking regularly to see if anything comes up. We always stay in Hasselt and enjoy it as much as the festival itself.

Imagine Dragons are by far and wide the worst big band in the last 10-15 years, its pretty impressive how they are so massive right now. All jokes aside, their numbers are monstrous, they sell equily well in any part of the world. But the music is so stale, these guys so so un-charismatic, they write the same song all over again, if you listen to Radioactive, Thunder, Believer, they found a formula that works and just repeat it. Just awful, and no one would say anything if thats Arena level here and there, but its becoming stadium size and they will be the biggest headliner any fest can have very soon. Just crazy.

Imagine Dragons produce easy listening music. Their second album for me was really good, good mix between rock and pop song. Since, their albums are more pop than rock but the energy in live show is always present even if they use a lot of vocals backing track (Natural).

And in France they have a lot of radio diffusions (one of the only pop rock who are played in radio).

They 're engaged in a lot of humanitarian cause.

Imagine Dragons + Florence almost confirmed for PKP’23. Who will he the 3rd one? A rock band? pop band? hip hop?

Something like

My Chemical Romance - Paramore

Imagine Dragons - Stormzy

Florence - The Strokes

would it be too much for PKP?
