It’ll be the backing track. Most pop singers nowadays have a backing track especially over choruses. The show is definitely live.

But apparently it was illegal for that 30 years ago when Milli Vanilli did it. And now it doesnt matter and they give you grammys for doing it.

All a bit odd to me, as a huge Swiftie. Album announced, then gone dead for weeks with the only communication flogging dead expensive vinyls lol.

I'd rather save my money for the tour and listen to it on Spotify tbh

I do sort of love the idea but I hate the price. I am tempted to buy the clock but not use the midnights vinyls, use some of my other ones...

If she wanted to implement the idea and not rip fans off, she could have just had the alternative backs, and then inside have 3 12" print outs of the other sides.

Even on the swift discord people were not impressed with the clock, still shocked we have had nothing new but then it is 5 weeks till the album comes out .

She could have done the same thing but with the lead single on vinyl instead, charging £10 a pop.

But to be honest, you don’t HAVE to buy it, you can still get the album free with your Spotify subscription. I’m not sure I’m that offended by people charging so much for limited edition stuff. If you can’t afford it you’re not missing out on the core experience. No different to video games coming in at £100 for limited editions with extra fluff.

I’ll be much more annoyed if gig tickets for her tour end up coming in like the Springsteen tickets.
