I think it's a lot more likely that either them or Sam Fender will play at 17:45 on the main stage. Imagine putting a Reading headliner in a tent, it's a recipe for chaos. We have seen Twenty-One Pilots perform from 18:30 when they were pretty much on their peak, so I think a Foals or Sam Fender gig at 17:45 on the main stage is pretty likely. They can still put Viagra Boys in the tent after Florence as they did with Arctic Monkeys + Fontaines DC last year.

So I think on the first day we'll see a Hungarian indie band on the main stage from 16.00 (someone like Carson Coma from last year), 17.45 Foals, 19.30 Sam Fender, 22.00 Florence.

I assume that Florence time should be slightly earlier?

I guess Florence + the Machine will clash with Foals or Sam Fender.

No way. That would be a disaster. Foals 17:45 - 19:00 (Franz Ferdinand and the Kooks also had that spot) on the main or in the tent.

Although I admit that I am surprised Foals are lower than Fender, they are way more established outside UK in comparison with Sam

Names are interesting ^^

but no way 1) eagles of death metal as a sub, and 2) maneskin and olivia rodrigo would never "only" be at freedome. MainStage or nothing.

Since it's their 30th birthday, I suppose the "see you soon" clue given by @Sziget2023_Leaks might indeeed be Coldplay (damn I can't imagone the overcrowded pit lol..).

Then, I'm sure they would try Eminem as a second BIG name, and that's understandable since there were no rap act as headliner this year.

After that... hmm.. Muse are doing their World Tour in 2023 so why not ; female artists is very difficult to guess because so many could : Billie Eilish ? Miley Cyrus ? or a surprise like Katy Perry or Lady Gaga ? way too early to say... Also, why not this ABBA holograms thing, since the abba tribute always is a huge success ^^

you're twice the man than matt[s]42[/s] matt43. 😛

Has there been any indications anywhere of who is actually subbing this year?

Think it's fair to say that Sam Fender will be, and it appears that Foals won't, but who else is?

Are Niall Horan and Yungblud big enough names to sub? What about M83 or Nothing But Thieves? Or are we looking at Diplo and others TBA?

Do we even have some possible names in the mix at this point or not at all?

Lowlands usually shares some names but no announcement on the horizon.

Not really. I'm looking at the 13-15 ticket though and just knowing Guetta, Florence and Imagine Dragons won't be there is reassuring enough.

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
