Just for those planning clashes, it may be different now but the last couple of years I went pre Covid the general rule of thumb was the Main Stage/The Slope alternated to each other, and The Barn/Klub C also alternated so if you were looking for bands across those stages that’s a good starting point

Not even going, I just love a Clashfinder.

Thur: Weyes Blood > 1975 > Sam Fender > Royksopp > Stromae

Fri: Viagra Boys > The Hu > slowthai > Fever Ray > Liam > RHCP

Sat: City & Colour > Just Mustard > Touche Amore > Fred > end of Muse

Sun: Destroy Boys > Nova Twins > JID/Puscifer > QOTSA > Rosalia > end of AM

My schedule would look like this (assuming the clashfinder is correct):

Thur: Weyes Blood > Anna Calvi > Sam Fender > Royksopp > Iggy Pop

Fri: Cavetown > Spoon > Black Keys > PUP > Liam > RHCP

Sat: Interpol > Paolo Nutini > Sigur Ros > beginning of Murder Capital >Dean Lewis> end of Muse

Sun: Nova Twins >Lumineers > QOTSA  > AM

Hi all, I'm planning on coming to Werchter this year for the first time. I'm trying to figure out the logisitics of travelling by a plane with a tent all the way from Poland and I was wondering if maybe there is an option of renting a tent somewhere near the festival site (or even in Brussels) instead of buying extra luggage and carrying it all with me? Has anyone heard about something like that? Any info would be much appreciated!

I'm not a Werchter camper so others can correct me but I doubt you will find something to rent, that doesn't seem so common in Belgium.

If you go via Brussels, you could stop at a store like Decathlon and pick up something 'disposable' for 30-60 euro.

My worst day in terms of clashes is Friday with overlaps involving 5 bands that ideally I would like to see: RHCP, Wardruna, Liam, Editors and Sons. The latter looks like a lost cause and I hope that The Barn will go after KlubC that day, as I'd prefer to miss Editors than Wardruna. Which also means that I'll have to leave early from Liam in order to be at the tent before it gets packed.

Last year Decathlon had a tent package you could rent at Leuven station. Don't know if they'll repeat that this year, but might be worth contacting them https://www.hln.be/leuven/slaaptentje-huren-op-rock-werchter-dat-kan-vanaf-16-euro-per-dag-bij-decathlon-belgie-we-willen-festivalgangers-verantwoordelijkheidszin-bijbrengen~ad9942c7/

Anyone know when we have the actual stage times?

Don't remember when it was last year. I suppose a factor this year is also Kens comment that the line up on Thursday's main stage isn't finished yet.

I thought werchter said it was the full lineup?

Well, Ken19 wrote this on March 3rd: Thursday main stage is not ready yet

Might just be an early afternoon act though. Main stage is usually 7 acts per day and now it's only 6 acts on Thursday.

Yeah probably an opener.

I think it was March/April the last time I attended RW (2018)

There is one act missing indeed and it will probably be an early afternoon one but I wouldn't rule out a small surprise there. It's possible that they are keeping one slot open to fill in later in accordance with ticket sales. If I remember correctly something similar happened in 2019 with some late additions to P!nk's day due to poor ticket sales.

I think there was a whole mess with Pinks day because she wanted her DJ or something to play in between shows. Can't remember the exact story.. Anyway, it seems to me a bit over optimistic to think there's a potential name that will push stormzy, 1975 or fender down the list

I agree. All this is hypothetical of course but they could potentially push one of the Barn or KlubC acts early on the main and get a bigger name for one of the tents to play before the headliners. But even if things stay as they are, it won't be the first time that Thursday has less than 7 names for the main.
