Look, its looking like a fairly typical weather pattern tbh for late June - hot, sunny, but with the threat of localised convectional rainfall in the PM or the same but drifting up from NW France into the South. Often fails to develop or misses the site altogether.

Although this sort of rainfall can be heavy and localised, its usually short lived and the site can cope if we all can...

Looking at the trend developing and Gav’s update, I’d be happy with that. A few showers are actually quite nice.

35 degrees is not going to happen. If it did it would cause far more problems than a load of rain. People would be dropping like flies.

We managed 37 in 2019.

It was insanely hot. I ended up in hospital on a drip on the Thursday due to the heat (I was so sensible too!)

I guess it’s different injuries. They get a lot of leg/ankle etc in mud years. But alot more heat exhaustion etc in hot ones

The bods on the netweather forum seem to be suggesting that the GFS model is the outlier in forecasting unsettled weather. The other models going for more of a settled/hot outlook.

I was hidden in the dark coolness of the Acoustic though so I dont know for sure...
