Pinhead
Look, its looking like a fairly typical weather pattern tbh for late June - hot, sunny, but with the threat of localised convectional rainfall in the PM or the same but drifting up from NW France into the South. Often fails to develop or misses the site altogether.

Sasperella2
So.... Somewhere between a 35 degree death pit to a five day wash out. Why do people bother to predict this sh*t when it means nothing??
Pinhead
Although this sort of rainfall can be heavy and localised, its usually short lived and the site can cope if we all can... Edited June 9, 2023 by Pinhead

A few showers are actually quite nice. 35 degrees is not going to happen. If it did it would cause far more problems than a load of rain. People would be dropping like flies. Glasto96
I’ll stick with accuweather. Only getting warmer and saturdays rain is only a little drizzle 🤞🏼

They get a lot of leg/ankle etc in mud years. But alot more heat exhaustion etc in hot ones

richy24
The bods on the netweather forum seem to be suggesting that the GFS model is the outlier in forecasting unsettled weather. The other models going for more of a settled/hot outlook.
