For me, acid test is - Monday after 2022 festival, if you were offered current forecasts the weekend before 2023, would you have taken them?

Personally, after three back to back dry festivals, I would have ripped your arm off for it.

and really importantly a really dry build up - yes 1000000%

The panic from some people for a little bit of rain is very silly.

People get stuck on forecast symbols summing up a whole day. UKMO has a rain drop every day, but on Thurs and Fri that’s four hours of a 30% chance of light rain.

If it just said ‘Warm and sunny with a low chance of a light shower in the pm’ (a la AccuWeather) everyone would be happy.

That's it. I think they see the raindrops and the cloud and think it's gonna be like that all day from the moment they wake up to the moment they pass out in the SEC.

I’d love the evenings ago be warmer. It was bloody freezing by 8pm last year! One poor sod got hypothermia at McCartney.

Yup, completely agree. We will probably have one day of showers at 2-4am and another day of mid day showers. It wont affect the site, some people won't even realise its happened. Positive.

Everyone trying to out-Nal one another like they're the first person that's thought of it.

Some of it’s funny but I do try and add some realism to the party because there’ll be plenty seeing the wind-up posts and worrying.
